Massen shopping center in Wemperhardt

In the extreme north of Luxembourg, in the Oesling region and along the national road 7 is the MASSEN shopping center in Wemperhardt. To meet the ever increasing demand, the client decided to carry out a further extension of the commercial site in 2001. With a program that evolved during the studies, the project included an extension of the supermarket’s sales area and Storage areas as well as the expansion of the shopping mall to add new shops, restaurants and a large banking agency. A large gas station was also planned and built. One of the peculiarities of the project is the construction of an eco-friendly car park that follows the slopes of the site and the renaturation of the creek running along the back of the site. With an area of ​​nearly 37,000 m2, the proposed expansion of the shopping center represents a significant investment in the region, employs more than 300 workers and attracts thousands of customers.
